Settings

A tour of all StackSpend workspace settings — what each section controls and where to find it.

All settings are accessed from the Settings menu in the sidebar. Admins can edit any setting. Members have read-only access to most settings sections.

Organization

Located at Settings → Organization. Controls workspace-wide defaults:

Workspace nameDisplayed in the UI, daily reports, and emails.
TimezoneUsed for date grouping in the data explorer and daily report scheduling.
Daily report timeWhat time the daily cost report is sent each morning.
Preferred currencyCurrency used to display all cost figures across the app. USD, EUR, GBP, and others supported.

Forecasting thresholds

Located at Settings → Forecasting. Controls the amber and red warning levels used in the monitoring view and budget alerts.

Red100%Provider turns red when forecast exceeds this percentage.

Notification preferences

Located at Settings → Notifications. Each workspace member can independently opt in or out of:

  • Email notifications — anomaly alerts and budget threshold alerts sent to your account email.
  • Slack notifications — personal DMs via the StackSpend Slack app (requires Slack to be connected by an Admin).
  • Daily report email — opt in to receive the morning cost summary by email.
Note.Workspace-level Slack channel routing (for daily reports and team alerts) is configured by Admins in Settings → Integrations.

Budgets & alerts

Located at Settings → Budgets & alerts. Set a monthly spend cap for each connected provider. StackSpend will alert you at configurable threshold percentages (default: 50%, 80%, 100%).

API

Located at Settings → API. Contains three tabs:

  • API Keys — create and revoke API keys for programmatic access. Available on the Business plan.
  • Webhooks — register HTTP endpoints to receive event notifications. See the Webhooks guide.
  • OAuth clients — create OAuth 2.0 clients for building integrations on behalf of other StackSpend accounts.

Team

Located at Settings → Team. Invite new members, change roles, resend pending invites, and remove members. See the Team management guide for details.
